John and Mary Blakey are mortgaging property in Boston to Mary Bowles for £150.
It consists of a newly erected dwellinghouse on the West side of Pen Street. We are told that there is adjoining property on the South side formerly occupied by Mary Goodwin but now in the occupation of Mary Bowles.
A note on the back records that the mortgage was paid off in July 1869. By this time Mary Bowles had died and the receipt is written by Arthur Green, her executor and legatee.
