Frederic WILLIS (deceased) of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. Gentleman.
Note that Frederic Willis died in 1866 having appointed David Willis (his brother) and Thomas Willis (his son) as his Executors and Trustees. We are also told that this John Horne is the eldest son of John Horne (the elder) of Soulbury, Buckinghamshire, who died in 1855.
The document begins by reciting that in 1850 John Horne (the elder) mortgaged property in Stewkley, Buckinghamshire, to Frederic Willis for £400. Now, John Horne (the younger) is selling the property to George and Charlotte Stone for £630, of which £514 will be paid to the 2 Willis' s to clear the debt.
The property consists of 4 cottages and a parcel of 3 acres of land, all adjoining each other, being on the North East side of the road leading to Drayton Parslow.
