Benjamin HODGSON of Nafferton, Yorkshire. Builder.,
John WARD of Great Duffield, Yorkshire,. Baker.
This is the first part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which John Ward is buying property in Nafferton, Yorkshire, from Benjamin Ward.
The property consists of a one third share of a plot of 4 acres of land which had been enclosed out of the common lands of Nafferton. We are told that Benjamin Hodgson was the only surviving son of William Hodgson, Blacksmith, of Nafferton, and that he has already sold the other two thirds of the plot to John Ward.
