SUBJECT
This is the first part of a Conveyance by Lease and Release in which Abraham Jackson, Samuel Bromhead and Joseph Bowden are transferring property in Frampton Cotterell, Gloucester, to John Hurle.

The property consists of 3 cottages with gardens and two parcels of land, each of 1 acre, known as North Little Leys and South Little Leys.

Mention is made of the 'Release' which will be executed on the following day which is described as a Reconveyance. This suggests that at some time past, John Hurle had mortgaged the property to the other three parties, and that the mortgage has now been paid off.
