|Title:||Manor Court Document|
|Date:||09 April 1821|
|Very good for a paper document of this age|
|Paper : 2 sheets 33cm x21cm on paper watermarked 1819|
|Summary of contents:|
Samuel BIRCHAM of Booton, Norfolk. Gentleman, AND Ann his wife.
Robert PARMETER of Burgh next Aylsham, Norfolk. Merchant.
Thomas Clement FRANCIS of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. Gentleman, AND Mary Elizabeth, his wife.
Richard CLARKE of Aylsham, Norfolk. Currier.
This document is a record of transactions of the Manor of Aylsham-on-the-part-of-Lancaster, which occurred on 27 March 1821 and 2 April 1821. It relates to the purchase of copyhold land in the Manor by Richard Clarke for £315.
The property consists of "Buildings now used as a Currier's Shop, Chandling Office and Warehouses" with a yard behind, then occupied by Richard Clarke and Charles Miller.
It is being sold by Samuel and Ann Bircham, Robert Parmeter, and Thomas and Mary Francis. Robert Parmeter and the two Birchams each own a quarter share, whereas Thomas and Mary Francis own a half share.
It looks as though Ann Bircham, Robert Parmeter and Mary Ann Francis are all siblings who have jointly inherited the property.
