PARTIES
John YATES of Ironbridge, Parish of Madeley, Shropshire. Maltster. John FOX of Coalbrookdale, Parish of Madeley, Shropshire. Accountant. William Gregory NORRIS of Madeley, Shropshire. Gentleman. William SANKEY of Madeley, Shropshire. Gentleman. William SANKEY of Madeley, Shropshire. Accountant. Egerton William SMITH of Ironbridge, Madeley, Shropshire. Grocer. William PAGE of Madeley, Shropshire. Butcher. John Daniel BENBOW of Madeley, Shropshire. Potter. SUBJECT William Page is selling a parcel of land in Madeley to John Benbow for £25. It is a strip of land of 5 yards by 60 yards bounded by Court Lane on the West. It appears to have been part of a larger piece of land called Great Burnt Hall which had been acquired by William Page in 1853. William Page had then mortgaged it to an unnamed building society, and the mortgage is still outstanding. Accordingly, the present trustees of the Society, who are the first five people named above, are giving their permission for the sale. | |||||||||||||||
