The document begins by reciting the will of John Fowler (who died in 1785) who left his property to his wife Elizabeth and his brother Bartholomew for their lives, and then to his nieces, who are now Anne Ward and Frances Perry.
In 1813 the two nieces mortgaged the property to Thomas Nightingale for £300. They are now selling it to William Yates for £700 of which, £300, goes direct to Thomas Nightingale to pay off the mortgage.
The property consists of two houses and a malthouse on the North or North West side of the road leading from Shifnal market place to the parish church.
John Fletcher is acting only as a trustee for William Yates.
