|Summary of contents:|
George Pritchard of Broseley, Shropshire, Esquire.
Joseph Davies of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Surveyor.
The Rev John Bartlett of Marnwood, Parish of Madeley, Shropshire.
John Edward Bartlett of Buckingham, Buckinghamshire. Banker.
Barnaby Spruce of Madeley, Shropshire. (Deceased).
The document begins by reciting that Barnaby Spruce died in 1833 having appointed George Pritchard as trustee. The estate, placed in trust with George Pritchard, was for the benefit of his daughter Sophia, then the wife of Edward Yates. Sophia Yates died in 1855 having appointed Joseph Davies as trustee.
Joseph Davies is now selling property in Madeley which was part of the estate of Sophia Yates to John Bartlett for £520. It is a parcel of land of 6 acres formerly known as Westfield, but now known as Mawkin Lane Meadow.
Note that John Edward Bartlett is only acting as a trustee for the Rev John Bartlett and plays little real part.
