William BIRD of Worstead, Norfolk. Grocer.
Joseph LEE of Horning, Norfolk. Merchant.
James BOYCE of Norwich, Norfolk. Gentleman.
This document relates to a mortgage of property in Horning, Norfolk, which was originally made by Thomas LEE of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and Frances his wife, in 1879. We are told that in 1880 this mortgage was transferred to Mary THORISBY of Worstead, Norfolk.
Since then, Mary Thorisby has died, with Administration of her estate granted to William Bird in 1801. We are also told that in 1791 Thomas Lee sold the property to Joseph Lee for £700, but with the mortgage for £300 to Mary Thorisby still outstanding.
Joseph Lee is now paying off the mortgage to William Bird and the property is being re-assigned to him. James Boyce is acting only as a trustee for Joseph Lee and plays little real part.
