Robert Sutcliffe is selling property in East Harling to Charles Kerrison for £270. It consists of:
1. A house recently erected on the site of an earlier one called ' Mortimers ' which had burned down.
2. A second house called ' Ashes ' with 2 acres of land.
3. A further plot of 2 acres of land.
Part of this property is freehold and part is Copyhold of the Manor of East Harling.
We are told that Robert Sutcliffe is the eldest son and heir of Edward Sutcliffe of Norwich, Joiner. He in turn was the nephew and heir of Edward Sutcliffe of Watton, Norfolk, Gentleman. All the above property came from the Will of the later Edward Sutcliffe.
