|Summary of contents|
Henry SANDFORD of Cromer, Norfolk. (Merchant)
Sir Edward North BUXTON of Colne House, Cromer. Norfolk. (Baronet)
Esther HARDINGHAM (deceased) of East Runton, Norfolk.
The document relates to two cottages in East Runton, Norfolk. They are copyhold property of the Manor of Beeston Regis and adjoin the West Side of the common pasture of the Manor.
We are told that in 1808, Esther Hardingham, the wife of Christopher Hardingham, (Fisherman), was admitted to this property by the Manor of Beeston Regis. Esther Hardingham, by then a widow, died in 1851, having appointed Henry Sandford as Executor with instructions to sell her real estate, subject to a life interest of her two daughters, Maria and Frances, in one of the cottages.
Henry Sandford is now selling the two cottages to Sir Edward Buxton for £120.
