This is the first part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which Benjamin Rofe and Henry Leigh are selling property in Tenterden to John and Joseph Mace. It consists of a messuage with barn, stable and several pieces of land totalling 10 acres, bounded on the East by the Kings Highway.
We are told that Benjamin Rofe purchased the property in November 1819 and that Henry Leigh is acting only as a trustee for him.
