SUBJECT
Benjamin Watton is mortgaging property to Robert Paris and Mary Eloure for 900. The property is at Moordown in the Parish of Holdenhurst and is part of Allotment 135 on the Tithe Commutation Survey for the parish. It is bounded on the South by a new road leading to the public highway and includes right of way "with or without horses carts or carriages" over the new road.

The second Indenture of 25/06/1885 tells us that Robert Paris died in 1883 and that the mortgage has since been transfered to Mary Eloure and Alexander Paris. Then on 24/06/1885 Benjamin Watton sold a 6-acre portion of the above property to the Bournemouth Land Society Ltd. This has enabled him to pay off the mortgage and the remainder of the property is being reconveyed to him.
