|Summary of contents:|
Mary Manuell of Portsea, Hampshire. Widow.
John Bufton of Landport, Parish of Portsea, Hampshire. Brewer.
William Bufton of Portsea, Hampshire. Mason.
Mary Manuell is selling property in Portsea to John Bufton for £60. It consists of a plot of land on the North side of Waterloo Place, near Spring Street (someone has written in pencil on the cover of the document Nos 5 6 and 7 Waterloo Place!).
We are told that this plot, together with other adjoining land, was acquired by Joseph Manuell, the then husband of Mary Manuell, in 1837.
William Bufton appears to act only as some sort of trustee and plays little real part.
