The document recites that a 21 year lease on the property at No. 9 Porchester Place was first granted in 1840. This lease came into the hands of John Warren in 1844, and in the main indenture he is selling it on to Jane Last for £48.
By the time of the 1858 Indenture it appears that Jane Last has died and Mary Piper is her executrix. Mary Piper is selling the residue of the lease to Louis Biard for 10 shillings. Note that Thomas Piper is also a party to and signatory of the contract to indicate that his wife is acting with his consent.
