PARTIES
Gertrude Mary ABBOTT the wife of Walter ABBOTT of Worthing, Sussex. Esquire. Frank Kinsey Munro THOMAS of Worthing, Sussex. Esquire. Claude William CHADBURN of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Brewer. William Edward BAILY (deceased) of Lynnwood House, Paul Churchton, Cornwall. Gentleman. SUBJECT The document begins by telling us that William Baily died in 1903 leaving a Will in which he gave his property to 2 trustees for the benefit of his wife Gertrude Mary Baily and his daughter Gertrude Sarah Baily. Then in 1905, Gertrude Mary married Walter Abbott and at this time Gertrude Sarah (the daughter) assigned her share of the inheritance to Gertrude Mary (her mother). Both of the original trustees have since died, but the duties of one of them, William Jackson Chadburn, have passed to his son, Claude William Chadburn. In this Indenture, Claude Chadburn and Frank Thomas are being appointed as Trustees of the remaining assets of William Baily. These assets consist mainly of shares in the Mansfield Brewery Company. | |||||||||||||
