PARTIES
Elizabeth JARVIS of the Bail of Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Widow. Edward AISKOP of Ryseholm, Lincolnshire. Yeoman. SUBJECT The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1731 in which Elizabeth Jarvis mortgaged property in Lincoln to Edward Aiskop for £120. It consists of a messuage known by the sign of The Half Moon and Falcon abutting on the High Street to the East and St Pauls churchyard to the North. There is a close of pasture of 1 acre called The North Knoll which adjoins the castle wall. Elizabeth Jarvis is now borrowing a further £10 from Edward Aiskop, also secured on the same property. | |||||||||||||
