The document begins by reciting the will of George Dunn in which he left his property to his wife Catherine Foggarty DUNN for her lifetime and thereafter to his two daughters Jane and Catherine. George Dunn died in 1853 and his wife Catherine died in March 1879.
The 2 daughters and their husbands are now selling property in Deal to William Thompson for £27/10/-d. It consists of a tenement at number 131 Middle Street, Deal.
There is a note on the back to say that Jane Langley and Catherine Mitchell have been examined separately from their husbands and both acknowledge that they are freely and voluntarily agreeing to the sale.
