Additional PARTY to the 1892 Indenture
Fred HOLDER of The Cross Hands Inn, Frampton Cotterell, Gloucestershire.
Henry Holder is mortgaging property in Frampton Cotterell to Clara Warren for £90. It consists of:
1) A private dwellinghouse, which was formerly the Cross Hands Inn, together with 4 acres of land.
2) One other cottage
3) The Cross Hands Inn, recently erected by George Holder (since deceased)
4) A plot of land of 3 roods on Coal Pit Heath
5) Two pieces of land totalling 13 acres known as The Furlongs
We are told that Henry Holder has already borrowed unspecified sums on the security of this property on four separate occasions from 1843 to 1878.
In the 1892 Indenture we are told that Henry Holder died in March 1892 having appointed Clara Warren and Fred Holder as trustees. They are jointly paying off the mortgage to Clara Warren and the property is reconveyed TO THE TWO TRUSTEES JOINTY.
Two Memoranda have been added on the back noting that plots of land at 4) and 5) above were sold in October 1892.
