Daniel Sargeant, formerly of Almondsbury, Gloucestershire, but now of the parish of Llanmarth, Monmouthshire, Yeoman. Thomas Williams Peters, formerly of Thornbury, Gloucestershire, but now of Olveston, Gloucestershire, Linen Draper and Grocer Thomas Keepin of the parish of Iron Acton, Gloucestershire, Butcher Henry Ray of Bristol, Gloucestershire, Gentleman Subject The document begins by reciting that Thomas Peters acquired property in Iron Acton in 1832. He then mortgaged it to Daniel Sargeant for £200, but is now selling it to Thomas Keepin for £160, all of which is paid direct to Daniel Sargeant. The property consists of a plot of 24 perches with a building used as a Coopers Shop and Bakehouse behind and also one other messuage. The plot is bounded on the North by the turnpike from Iron Acton to Wotton Underedge. Note that Henry Ray appears to act only as some sort of trustee and plays little real part. | |||||||||||
