William Granville Maddison of Durham, County Durham. Solicitor The Rev. William Maddison of Gosforth Rectory, Northumberland. Bertram Lionel Maddison of Richmond, Yorkshire. Captain in HM Yorkshire Regiment. Subject The document begins by reciting that, in 1909, Charlotte Anne Johnson mortgaged propety in West Kyo and Annfield Plain (Co. Durham) to W.G. Maddison and The Rev. W, Maddison for £260. By the time of this indenture the sum outstanding had fallen to £206, and the mortgage for this sum was then transferred to Bertram Lionel Maddison. A typed memorandum has been added on the cover of the document to say that, in 1925, the property was sold to Dora Fawcett. The Deed of 26th April 1947 is executed by William Granville Maddison as surviving executor of the will of Bertram Lional Maddison who died in 1916. It declares that he has received the sum of £206 from Charlotte Johnson in full settlement of all outstanding costs and interest associated with the mortgage. | |||||||||||
