Frederick ROBSON of 33 Victoria Lane, Coundon, County Durham. Builder
The Auckland Union Permanent Society
Frederick Robson is morgaging copyhold property in Coundon to The Auckland Building Society for £400. It consists of 3 houses at 33 Victoria Lane and at numbers 8/9 Clyde Terrace East.
A memorandum of January 1921 tells us of a covenant to surrender the property at No.8 Clyde Terrace East to Robert Davies, Miner, and his wife Dorothy. The second memorandum of February 1923 is a similar covenant to surrender No.9 Clyde Terrace East to George Thomas Sewell. In both cases these properties appear to have been sold free of any mortgage charge.
A final memorandum on the back is an acknowledgement by the Auckland Building Society that the mortgage was paid off in July 1923.
