William Hayler of Chatham, Kent. Watchmaker.
William Epps of St Margaret, next the city of Rochester, Kent. Printer.

John Chapman is selling property in Rochester to William Epps for £800. It is a plot on the North of Kings Street in the Parish of St Margarets next Rochester, and contains a tenement and coach house built by John Chapman. We are told that it came into the hands of John Chapman in 1793.
We re told that William Hayler is a Trustee acting on behalf of John Chapman. Thomas Edmeades appears to act in the same way for William Epps. Neither seems to play any real part, although the functions of William Hayler are spelt out in more detail than is usual.
