Perridge Langton is buying property in Padbury, Buckinghamshire, from John Clark for £3050. Of this £500 is paid to Richard Shillitoe to settle a mortgage made in 1813. A further £380 is paid direct to Elizabeth Clark as settlement in full of an annuity of £30 per annum which had been due to her from the rents of the property.
The Rev William Eyre only comes into the contract because he had originally agreed to buy the property from John Clark. He later relinquished the contract in favour of Perridge Langton. William Langton only appears as a Trustee for Perridge Langton and plays little real part.
The property consists of a messuage in Padbury with a close of 1 acre called Shoulder of Mutton Close. Also a parcel of 39 acres bounded on the North by Home Close, and the South West and North West by the Steeple Clayton Road.
