This is the second part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which Robert Griggs is selling property in Shipdham, Norfolk. The property is being conveyed to Thomas Bringloe but he is acting only as a trustee, holding it for William Younge. The purchase price is £340, of which only £40 is to be paid direct to Robert Griggs. The remaining £300 represents a mortgage made by Mary Rising to Robert Griggs and which is now being taken over by William Younge.
The property consists of a tenement with barns, stables, warehouse and outhouses, together with 5 acres of pasture adjoining. It lays next to the churchyard in Shipdham bounded on the North and East sides by the highway from Bradenham to Norwich.
The "Lease for a Year" is the first part of this contact and is FamilyChest document number 0506028.
