|Summary of contents:|
Thomas Denn of High Ongar, Essex - Esquire.
William Denn of Shipden, Norfolk - Gentleman.
David Long of Cranworth, Norfolk - Farmer.
Richard Thurrold of Shipden, Norfolk - Shopkeeper.
John Crisp of East Dereham, Norfolk - Gentleman.
This is the second part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which property in Shipdham is being sold to Richard Thurrold for £295. It appears that the property had been in the possession of David Long (deceased), and that he had appointed Thomas Denn, William Denn and David Long, (the one listed here), as his Executors and Trustees, with directions to sell it.
The sale has the further complication that, while it is Richard Thurrold who is paying the purchase price, the conveyance is made out to John Crisp who will hold it in trust for him.
The property consists of a messuge with field adjoining, totalling 5 acres, bounded on the North by the King's Highway and adjoining the churchyard.
