Lewis Ambrose REEVE of Ashford, Kent, (Upholsterer)
George GREEN of 18 Aldermanbury, London, (Gentleman)
William BRIDGE, late of New Romney Kent, afterwards of Folkestone, Kent but now of Ashford, Kent, (Upholsterer)
Henry AYERS of New Romney, Kent. Plumber, (Painter and Glazier)
The document relates to a messuage with workshop and garden behind (together with a half share of a well and pump), on the South Side of the Queens High Street, New Romney, Kent.
We are told that William Bridge mortgaged the property for £195 in 1845, but was declared bankrupt in May 1847 with Lewis Reeve and George Green appointed administrators. The administrators are now selling the property to Henry Ayres for £5, the latter taking over responsibility for the mortgage and outstanding interest.
