|Summary of contents:|
Charles BROWNE of Lowestoft, Suffolk. Esquire.
Richard MILLER the younger of Lowestoft, Suffolk. Gentleman.
John ELPH of Lowestoft, Suffolk. Beer Brewer.
Alexander PAYNE of Lowestoft, Suffolk. Gentleman.
This is the second part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which Charles Browne is selling property in Lowestoft, Suffolk, to John Elph for £400.
The property consists of two parcels of land, each of 2 acres, which lay between the Turnpike Road and the beach. They are each part of a close of land called The Gun Close. We are told that Charles Browne acquired the property in 1820.
Richard Miller and Alexander Payne are acting only as trustees for Browne and Elph respectively, and play little real part.
