SUBJECT
Thomas Ashton is selling property in Newton, Cheshire to John Dobson. There appears to be no lump sum for a purchase price, but a yearly chief rent of 6/9/4d (Six Pounds, Nine Shillings and Four Pence).

The property contains 776 square yards and is bounded on the West by Duke Street, and on the North, by the highway from Flowery Field to Newton.

John Dobson undertakes within 2 years to erect one or more good and substantial buildings of brick or stone which will yield a clear annual rent of at least 13.

Two memoranda of 1921 and 1925 are written on the back of the indenture relating to the sale of various properties at numbers 57, 59 61, 63 and 65 Bennett Street, Newton.
