|Summary of contents:|
Peel EMMOTT of Broadhead Farm, Bakworth, Near Keighley, Yorkshire. Farmer.
Wilfred TURNER of Keighley, Yorkshire. Solicitor.
Peel Emmott is mortgaging property in the parish of Keighley to Wilfred Turner for £600.
It consists of:
1. A farmhouse with 7 closes of land adjoining at Broadhead within Newsholme, Keighley.
2. An allotment of land awarded out of the common of Newsholme.
3. Another dwellinghouse with barn and other buildings called Little White Hill with closes and allotments totalling 19 acres.
We are told that this property had all been in the occupation of Peter Emmott before passing to Peel Emmott.
A typed sheet dated 1933 pinned on the front tells us that this mortgage was still owing at that time and that Peel Emmott had taken out a second mortgage on the same property.
