Hannah Elizabeth Hall (formerly Cowley) the wife of -
John Hall of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Secretary.
John Adams Wardell of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Confectioner.
William Henry Cowley (deceased) of Newbold, Parish of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Gentleman.
We are told that William Cowley died in 1888 leaving a Will in which his property was left to his mother Hannah Cowley and, if she should die intestate, then to his sister Hannah Elizabeth Cowley. Hannah (his mother) died during the lifetime of William Cowley, so the property went to Hannah Elizabeth now married to John Hall.
Hannah Hall is now selling a plot of land of 450 square yards in Newbold, Chesterfield, to John Wardell for £38. It is close to the Chesterfield and Sheffield turnpike road.
