This document concerns the sale of copyhold land in the Manor of Matlock by John Nuttall to George Poyser for £1150. The plot measures 720 square yards and contains 2 dwelling houses known as Lyndhurst and Glenholme.
To complete the formalities John Nuttall is surrendering the land to the Lords of the Manor and George Poyser is being admitted to it on payment of a fine 3d. This document is a copy of the portion of the Manor Roll which records these procedings.
