PARTIES
Thomas Meyrick of Bush, Pembrokshire. Esquire. John Shaddock of Pembroke Dock, Pembrokshire. Shipwright. SUBJECT Thomas Meyrick is giving a lease on a property in Prospect Row, Pembroke Dock, to John Shaddock. The property lies between Prospect Row and Upper Prospect Row, and is the second house from the West end of Prospect Row. The lease is for 60 years at an annual rent of £1/8/-d. Note that this is a printed document in which the name of Thomas Meyrick forms part of the printed text, (whereas John Shaddock has been filled in in manuscript), so it would appear that Thomas Meyrick is issuing many such leases. Curiously, the printed text includes the phrase "in consideration of the expenses which the said ...... has been at in erecting the dwelling house hereby demised". So it seems that there must be many tenants who have all built their own houses. | ||||||||||||
