Francis HART of Killinghall, Fighting Cocks, County Durham. Butcher.
Henry Andrew William COCKS (d) Esquire, of Low Middleton Hall, Middleton St George, County Durham.
The document begins by reciting that Henry Cocks died in 1894 having appointed Thomas Baron and Henry Graham as is trustees and executors. These trustees are now selling property in Middleton St George to Francis Hart for £247.
The property consists of two adjacent plots of land on the East side of the road from Fighting Cocks to Middleton One Row. One plot contains a dwellinghouse and the other contains a butcher's shop, slaughter house, pigsty and stable.
We are told that Henry Cocks acquired the two plots in 1883.
