|Summary of contents:|
Thomas William Hearne of Jeeves Hall, Parish of Ridge, Hertfordshire. Esquire.
John Parkinson of Grays Inn, London. Esquire.
James Goldson of East Dereham, Norfolk. Esquire.
William Catton of Shipdham, Norfolk. Gentleman.
Robert Dunn of East Dereham, Norfolk (d 1828).
The document begins by reciting an indenture of 1820 in which William Catton gives a mortgage on property in Shipdham, Norfolk, to Robert Dunn. The mortgage is for £5,700 and specifies a term of 1000 years.
We are then told that the mortgage was not repaid as required and that Robert Dunn died in 1828 having appointed Thomas Hearne, John Parkinson and James Goldson as executors.
Since then, William Catton has repaid all money owing and, in this indenture, the three executors are surrendering their interest in the property as specified in the mortgagee.
The property consists of a new built messuage and 70 acres in Shipdham, Wetfield and East Dereham.
