This is a bundle of over 50 documents. The principal item is a copy of a will on a single sheet of parchment, 54cm x 71cm, with grant of probate and embossed pendant seal attached. All other documents are paper ranging from small receipts upwards.

Beneficiaries Ann Baker of Chelsea Bridge Road, London Jane Barnsley of Hessle Road, Hull, Yorkshire Charlotte Baker of Camberwell, London Elizabeth Owen of Corwen, North Wales Susannah Baker of Chelsea Bridge Road, London All the above beneficiaries are nieces of the testator, the daughters of her late brother William Baker. Executors William Callard Simmons of Sandwich, Kent, Builder Thomas Taylor of Deal, Kent, Postmaster Subject The will of Ann Baker gives an extensive list of her possessions with details of who is to receive each item. She also has 4 houses in Guildcount Lane and Bowling Street, parish of St Mary the Virgin, Sandwich, which are to be sold and the proceeds shared among her nieces.
