The document begins by reciting the Will of Richard Morley who died in 1875 leaving his property to his sons Richard, George, and William Morley. Then in 1879 the eldest son, Richard, mortgaged his share to George Morley for £150. Richard had married Martha Louisa Barker in 1868 and died in 1892 intestate. In 1893 William Morley mortgaged his share for £125 which mortgage was transferred to George Morley in 1904.
Amelia Morley died in August 1904, by which time Martha Louisa Morley owed George Morley £340/15/-d and William Morley owed £268/13/-d. The property to be shared between them is valued at £1,815.
