SUBJECT
William Raven is mortgaging property in the parish of St Margaret, Leicester, to the other two parties for 4,000. The property consists of a series of buildings, mainly warehouses and factories bounded by Crafton Street to the South, Wharf Street to the West, and Wheat Street to the North. It includes a public house called the General Tom Thumb in the North West corner.

A memorandum on the back records that 1300 was repaid in 1886. Then the second indenture of 1890 records that the whole sum has been repaid and the property is being reconveyed to William Raven.
