|Summary of contents:|
John Hayne of Alderwasley in the Parish of Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Gentleman. And Elizabeth (nee Allsop) his wife.
Sarah Hayne of Wirksworth, Derbyshire. spinster.
Andrew Wilkinson of Burrow Bridge, Yorkshire., Esquire.
John Allsop (deceased) of Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Gentleman.
This is the first part of a sale by Lease and Release. It is unusual in that the lease is for a term of 6 months, whereas a term of 1 year was normal standard for such transactions.
It relates to property in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, which consists of several parcels known the names of The Grabb Tree, the Lane, Nether Meadow, Ludway Flats, Over Ludway Flatts, The Little Meadow, and the Dockley Close. There appears to be both freehold and copyhold land.
We are told that a one third share of this property has come from the Will of John Allsop to John, Elizabeth and Sarah Hayne. They are now selling it to Andrew Wilkinson. We are also told that Elizabeth Hayne is the sole daughter and heir of John Allsop, and that Sarah Hayne is one of 3 children of Elizabeth Hayne.
