William Smith is buying property in Pig Lane in the Parish of Saint Simon and Saint Jude, Norwich, from William Lowne. We are told that William Lowne (then described as a Pattern Maker) bought the property in 1862. He sold it to Francis Drake for £100, but before the sale was completed, Francis Drake sold it on to William Smith for £105.
