Arthur John Abercrombie Pye of St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands. William Bent of 21 Chadwell Street, Clerkenwell, London, Watchmaker. Subject Arthur Pye sells an underlease to William Bent on property at 49 (formerly number 18) Linton Street, Parish of St Mary, Islington, Middlesex. Note that Arthur Pye has been declared 'of unsound mind' but 'not so found' by the official solicitor of the Supreme Court who is acting on his behalf. The transaction has also been approved by Thomas Fischer KC 'one of the Masters on Lunacy'. The document also recites an Indenture of 01/10/1864 between Eben William Robertson, the Wardens of the company of Clothmakers, Clement Uzielli, John Mackenzie, James Robins and John Dear. This is a lease for Eben Robertson to John Dear of property at numbers 17 and 18 Linton Street. There is also mention of an underlease of 01/08/1902 on 49 Linton Street (formerly number 18) by Mary Ann Thick and Helen Rousseau Thick to Arthur Pye. | |||||||||||||
