Jane Cotton of Bank Street, Tunstall, Staffordshire, Spinster
Rev. Arthur Hardy of Rampton Vicarage, Nottinghamshire
Rev. John Lingen Seager of Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Robert Davis of Tunstall, Staffordshire.
Jane Cotton is borrowing £200 from Arthur Hardy and John Seager on the security of a parcel of land in Tunstall in the parish of Wolstanton, Staffordshire on the South side of Bank Street with 3 dwelling houses and a shop numbered 27, 29 and 31 Bank Street.
The second indenture of 11/10/1886 tells us that, within a year of the above mortgage, Jane Cotton had married a Robert Davis, written her will and died in July 1886. Her property is then being conveyed to her husband, having paid off the earlier mortgage.
