John Lingen Seager of Stevenage, Hertfordshire Robert Davis of Tunstall, Staffordshire. SUBJECT Jane Cotton is borrowing £200 from Arthur Hardy and John Seager on the security of a parcel of land in Tunstall in the parish of Wolstanton, Staffordshire on the South side of Bank Street with 3 dwelling houses and a shop numbered 27, 29 and 31 Bank Street. The second indenture of 11/10/1886 tells us that, within a year of the above mortgage, Jane Cotton had married a Robert Davis, written her will and died in July 1886.
