William Welch of Warkworth, Northumberland, Publican
Henry Taylor Purvis of Alnwick, Northumberland, Merchant
Robert Wardle of Warkworth, Northumberland, Butcher
William Welch is selling property in Warkworth to Robert Wardle for £76. The money is actually paid to Henry Purvis who holds a mortgage on the property. It appears that this sum completely pays off the mortgage.
The property consists of a plot of land of 918 sq.yds. in Warkworth called "The Butts" previously appurtenant to "The White Swan" bounded on the North side by a road from Warksworth Bridge to Amble.
A schedule lists other indentures which relate to this property from 1804 onwards. It appears that it came into the hands of William Welch in 1861.
