Roger Buston of Buston, Northumberland, Esquire The Rev. Robert Green of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland William Armstrong of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. Esquire Robert Wardle of Warkworth, Northumberland. Butcher Others mentioned: Alice Cramlington SUBJECT Robert Wardle has bought property in Warkworth, Northumberland, at a Public Auction held at the Queens Head Inn in Warkworth for £400. It is a freehold messuage containing 6 rooms bounded on the West by Queens High Street, together with butts of land belonging to it situated in the Heatherleazes, and a scrub or fen in the New town. The document begins by reciting that this property belonged to Alice Cramlington who died in August 1855. In her will she appointed Roger Buston, Robert Green and William Armstrong as her Executors and Trustees and instructed them to sell all her property (but we are not told what they were to do with the proceeds). | ||||||||||||||
