of any of our documents.The cost
depends on the size so please email us at familychest@aol.com
and we will quote a reasonable price.For
a typical large single page parchment indenture, the cost is £10 – other items
pro rata for the work involved
We post documents to UK addresses by first class
mail with recorded delivery.UK postage
is included in the price.For overseas
addresses, please contact us first, and we will notify you of the additional
postage cost.
All our documents are subject to UK Export Licensing
regulations.The regulations require that any manuscript
over 50 years old, and of any value whatever, must have an individual export
licence to leave the UK.This is a
straightforward process and we make a £6 administration charge for each document
to be exported.Please allow 2-4 weeks
for us to obtain the licence.
We reserve the right to make a transcription of any document and to sell such
transcriptions after we have sold the original manuscript.FamilyChest holds the copyright for such transcriptions
and they may not be copied except for the purchaser’s personal use without
our permission.
We trust you will be entirely happy with your
purchase, but should there be a genuine grievance because of a significant
error in our description of the document or its contents, then we will refund
the full purchase price.In other cases documents may usually be returned
in their original condition for a full refund of the purchase price less a
10% handling charge.
